We opened our doors in December of 2003. Tammy Hillen was working for Holland Hospital’s Center for Good Health when the hospital decided to make changes in their program. Choosing to make lemonade, she opened Harbor Health and Massage LLC in downtown Holland.
Harbor Health and Massage LLC now has five massage therapists who are certified* in a variety of techniques including neuromuscular therapy, craniosacral therapy, prenatal massage and hot stone massage.

*Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) or Nationally Certified Medical Massage Therapist (NCMMT). Michigan recently passed a licensing law for massage therapists. However, the state is still trying to determine how to implement the requirements of the new law. Until they do, it’s important to find out about a therapist’s training, expertise and experience.
